Challenge
Mention by Areej is a podcast about football and the players who shape it, built around conversation with some of the most recognisable names in the Saudi and international game. Trigon and the Areej team brought us in as the production partner to handle filming and post. The space already existed, so the challenge was not to build a set from nothing but to find the podcast inside a room: to resolve the frame, the look and the sound of the show, and then deliver every episode to a consistent standard across the series.

Solution
We started with the room. Furniture was moved and angles tested until the conversation sat where it belonged, and microphones were selected to fit the space aesthetically as well as acoustically. The client brought logos and set assets, and we advised on placement so every element landed cleanly in shot. Once the space was resolved, we lit it and set five cameras, giving the edit a wide that holds the room, singles that carry each speaker, and the angles that let a reaction land the moment it happens.

In post we built the visual language of the show from scratch: the intro, the title sequence, the lower thirds and a full motion graphics package designed to match the theme of the podcast. Per episode, we delivered the multicam edit, a promo to drive the release, and three shorts cut for social. Episodes are out now on Areej’s YouTube channel, @Areejun.
