A Miniature Painting Documentary About a Rare Craft
Miniature painting is a traditional art form practised for hundreds of years, in which artists paint small, detailed scenes with the finest brushes.
This miniature painting documentary follows an artist through the process, from preparing the surface to building up colourful scenes of history, stories and everyday life. Every detail is added layer by layer, with patience and a very steady hand.
Fewer artists practise the craft today, which makes it all the more important to record. See more of our documentary work.
