Joury Hashem - Al Hilal Football Player
Our CEO, Mossa Onsori, set out to create a pilot passion project about football in Saudi Arabia, and Joury was his first choice for it.
The sport has been backed heavily across the country in recent years, and the progress has been striking. Since 2018, women have been able to attend matches in the stadiums, and Saudi Arabia now has its own women’s national teams. Joury is one of them, playing professionally for Al Hilal.
This was a true passion project for our team. We carried it from concept through to the finished film across two days of shooting.

The Approach
Our approach was built around one idea: to show the work that sits behind a professional footballer, not only the finished performance on the pitch.
Across the two shoot days, we followed Joury through her own routine rather than staging it for the camera. She took us to the places where she trains, from the pitch to the gym, and walked us through the schedule that shapes her week. Mossa’s direction kept returning to a single point throughout: however beautiful the sport is to watch, reaching the top of it takes a great deal of sustained work.
To do that justice, we shot with two Directors of Photography working simultaneously, running Sony FX6 cameras paired with G Master lenses and professional lighting throughout. The two-camera setup let us capture Joury from more than one angle at once, holding both the wider context and the smaller, telling details without asking her to break her rhythm or repeat a moment.

Final Edit
The final edit is an engaging documentary full of emotion and passion. Since this was our passion project the director and our team all worked together to create the look and style. Looking forward now to develop this into a series.
