Buzkashi: A Documentary Filmed Over Two Years
Buzkashi is a traditional horseback sport in which riders fight to carry a goat carcass into a goal. It is known for its raw physical intensity and its fiercely loyal crowds.
We filmed this Buzkashi documentary over two years in several cities, covering many games through to the final matches.
The camera stays close to the action, capturing the riders, their powerful horses and the tradition and competitive spirit that make the game so loved. It is part of our series of heritage documentaries.
