Areej Abdullah: Two Social Reels

Social reels in Riyadh live or die on speed, and this brief arrived as a phone call. Areej Abdullah wanted a trend format piece for social. We studied the reference material, then designed the setup before the shoot day instead of improvising on location.

We kept the crew small and the setup movable, and we filmed on the Sony FX3. Areej arrived ready, with hair, makeup and wardrobe sorted and the format rehearsed. That preparation bought us time, so one booking produced two reels instead of one: the first in traditional dress with jewellery, the second in an Al Nassr shirt.
