Team Clad’s Journey to the World Finals
Team Clad documentary production followed a group of students from Riyadh as they prepared for the F1 in Schools World Finals 2024. Team Clad was one of four Saudi teams selected to compete in the international competition.
The 2024 World Finals marked the first time the global event took place in Saudi Arabia. The opportunity allowed Team Clad to represent the Kingdom while demonstrating its technical skills, creativity and passion for engineering.
The students prepared with guidance from their teacher and support from Aramco, Ithra and the F1 in Schools program. Stock Stop produced a short documentary capturing their preparation, innovative mindset and excitement about competing internationally.

Documenting Teamwork, Engineering and Ambition
For the Team Clad documentary production, Stock Stop filmed the students in Riyadh as they prepared for the competition. The visual story focused on their teamwork, technical development and dedication to representing Saudi Arabia.
The F1 in Schools competition brings together several areas of learning. Students need to apply engineering, design, communication and project-management skills as they develop their work and prepare to compete against teams from around the world.
Our documentary approach focused on the students behind the technical project. The film captured their concentration during preparation as well as their enthusiasm for Formula 1, engineering and innovation.
Guidance from their teacher helped the students strengthen their ideas and organize their work. Meanwhile, support from Aramco, Ithra and the F1 in Schools program gave the team access to an educational environment that encouraged collaboration and technical development.
The documentary connected Team Clad’s personal experience with the growing importance of STEM education and youth innovation in Saudi Arabia.

A Student Documentary from Riyadh
The final film highlighted the students’ focused preparation, innovative thinking and passion for engineering and speed. It also captured the pride they felt while preparing to represent Saudi Arabia on an international stage.
Through interviews and documentary footage, the production presented Team Clad as a group of ambitious students working toward a shared goal. The project showed how educational competitions can give young people opportunities to apply their knowledge, develop new skills and participate in international experiences.
The completed documentary celebrated Team Clad’s journey while reflecting the continued growth of STEM education and youth innovation in the Kingdom.
