Team Shaheen’s Road to the World Finals
Team Shaheen documentary production brought Stock Stop to Dammam to follow four students preparing for the F1 in Schools World Finals 2024. Team Shaheen was one of four Saudi teams selected to participate in the international competition.
The global event took place in Saudi Arabia for the first time in 2024. This gave the students an opportunity to compete internationally while representing the Kingdom in their home country.
The four team members shared an ambition to succeed in engineering, design and innovation. With mentorship from their teacher and support from Ithra, Aramco and the F1 in Schools program, they worked together to prepare for the competition.

Engineering, Testing and Student Innovation
For the Team Shaheen documentary production, Stock Stop filmed the students in Dammam as they worked on the technical and personal aspects of their preparation.
The documentary covered their experience from engineering and testing to teamwork and personal reflection. This approach helped the film present both the competition project and the students responsible for developing it.
The team needed to combine technical knowledge with planning, communication and collaboration. Each student contributed to a shared goal while developing skills that could support future studies and careers in science, technology and engineering.
Our production also captured the students discussing their experiences, motivations and hopes for the competition. These personal stories gave audiences a clearer understanding of what representing Saudi Arabia meant to the team.
Support from their teacher, Ithra, Aramco and the F1 in Schools program helped provide the mentorship and educational foundation behind their preparation.

An Inspiring Student Documentary from Dammam
Stock Stop completed and delivered a short documentary following Team Shaheen’s journey toward the F1 in Schools World Finals 2024.
The final film highlighted the team’s preparation, engineering work, testing process and excitement about competing internationally. It also showed the students’ passion for Formula 1 and innovation.
By combining technical footage with personal stories and reflections, the documentary offered an inspiring look at youth talent in Saudi Arabia. It demonstrated how educational programs can encourage students to explore engineering while developing confidence, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
The completed production celebrated Team Shaheen’s shared ambition and presented its journey as part of the growing future of STEM education in the Kingdom.
