Stock Stop LTD

Post-Production for Film, Documentary and Branded Content

Stock Stop handles post-production in house, on our own productions and on footage shot by others. Feature and documentary edits, podcast series, promos and stock-footage films, taken from rushes through to final delivery.

Bring Us the Rushes

Not every project needs a crew. Plenty of the work that comes to us is footage already shot and sitting on a drive, waiting for someone to make a film out of it.

We take material from any source, including archive and stock, and work it through story edit, sound, grade and graphics to a finished piece. Everything is done by our own team rather than passed between suppliers, so the film only has one set of hands on it.

Ingest and Review

We take in the material, organise it and go through what you have before agreeing an approach.

Story Edit

The edit is where the film is made. We build the structure first and refine it with you through agreed rounds.

Finishing

Colour grade, sound design and mix, music, graphics and subtitles, all in house.

Delivery

Masters, versions and platform-specific formats, prepared to the specs your broadcaster or channel requires.

Popular questions

Can you edit footage we shot ourselves?

Yes. A good share of our post work is material filmed by someone else. Send us the rushes and we will tell you what you have and what it can become.

Yes. We produce films built entirely from stock or archive, and we regularly combine existing footage with material shot for the project.

Yes. Edit, sound, colour, graphics and subtitling are all handled by our own team, so the film is not passed between suppliers.

Yes. Our films have been carried by international broadcasters, and we prepare masters and versions to the specs each one requires.

That is agreed in the quote, based on the length and complexity of the project, so you know before we start.
