An AI documentary for brands and institutions lets you tell a story that has no footage: something that happened long before cameras, a place that no longer stands, or an archive far too fragile to film. We have made them, and the process looks much more like documentary production than people expect.
We produced one about the world’s rarest manuscripts, which is the clearest example of what this is good for. You can read how that one came together in our case study on that film.
It starts with research, not prompts
The script comes first and it has to be right. A documentary makes claims, and generated pictures do not excuse a weak one. We research, write, and get the script approved before a single frame is generated.
Look development
A documentary has to hold one visual world from beginning to end. We build the look and lock it before generating at volume, because without that every scene drifts slightly and the film stops feeling like one piece.
Voice and sound
An original voiceover, scored and mixed properly. Sound is what makes a generated image feel like a real place, and it is the stage most people underestimate.
Where it belongs
Heritage, history, museums and institutions. Anything whose subject cannot be filmed because it is gone, too fragile to move, or was never photographed in the first place.
Who commissions an AI documentary for brands
Museums, foundations, heritage bodies and companies with a long history behind them. The common thread is always the same: an archive that matters, a story worth telling, and almost no footage to tell it with.
“You cannot film what no longer exists. You can still tell it honestly.”
Stock Stop
AI documentary work sits alongside the documentaries we shoot in the ordinary way, in London and across the United Kingdom and in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia. See our AI content production service. Tell us the subject and what survives of it, and we will come back with a plan.
