Stock Stop LTD has been named Cultural and Heritage Documentary Production Company of the Year 2025 at the SME Greater London Enterprise Awards. Heritage documentary production has sat at the centre of our work since the first year. Recognition from London means a great deal to everyone here.
We began producing documentaries around the world in 2021. In 2022 we delivered more than 200 short and long form films about heritage and culture to television channels in London. That year taught us something we still carry. Heritage stories do not wait, because crafts fall out of practice and places change fast.
Our recent films show what that looks like. Artisans of Al-Ahsa runs 45 minutes and follows ten traditional crafts in one of the world’s largest oases, with the twelve artisans who still practise them. Aperture runs 50 minutes and follows the British photographer Richard Wilding on his return to Saudi Arabia, fourteen years after his first visit.
Both films reached audiences on MBC and Al Thaqafiyah, and both sit on Shahid today. Heritage documentary production also takes patience. Our crews give the extra day on location when a craftsman wants to show one more thing, and they film hours that nobody will ever see.
Awards are never the reason anyone picks up a camera. Still, our team loves this work, so the recognition matters to them. This one belongs to every person who carried a case, held a light or waited for the right moment.
“Heritage stories do not wait, so we go while the people who hold them are still here to tell them.”
Stock Stop
Heritage documentary production is one of the ways Stock Stop supports clients in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and beyond. We keep filming for companies and cultural institutions who want their story told properly. If you are working on something worth documenting, we would be glad to talk.
