Video production in Jeddah is its own thing. The light, the architecture and the access rules are all different to Riyadh, and a crew that only works in the capital will lose half a day finding that out.
We film in Jeddah regularly, including four visits to a factory build near the city across 2025 and 2026.
Locations that are worth the paperwork
Al Balad is one of the most photogenic places in the Kingdom and one of the more regulated. The corniche and the waterfront are easier. Industrial sites to the north need lead time measured in weeks, not days.
Light and timing
Humidity near the coast softens everything and the heat limits how long you can keep a crew and a cast outside. Early morning is worth getting out of bed for here more than almost anywhere else we work.
Local crew
For anything under a week, crew who already know the venues and the permissions will cover more ground than a team flown in. For long form work where continuity matters, the opposite is usually true.
What we cover
Corporate films, documentary, events, construction and industrial, drone where it is permitted, and photography alongside the video.
Planning video production in Jeddah around the heat
From spring through to autumn the middle of the day is unusable for anything outdoors involving people. We schedule exteriors early, move inside through the afternoon, and allow more time than the same job would need in Riyadh. Pretending otherwise just costs you a day.
“Early morning is worth getting out of bed for in Jeddah more than almost anywhere.”
Stock Stop
Jeddah is one of the places Stock Stop works regularly, alongside Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia, and London and the United Kingdom. See our video production service. Tell us the dates and the locations, and we will come back with a plan.
