Experia ran a six week event in Riyadh for the Ministry of Health and brought us in for five of those weeks. Event video coverage across a run that long is a different job to covering a single day, and it needs a different plan. Our crew was on site through all five weeks, filming, photographing and recording interviews, with the plan reset each week around what was actually happening on the floor.
On a one day shoot you cover everything and choose later. Across five weeks that just fills drives with material nobody will ever watch, so we agreed what mattered each week and shot for that instead of filming everything twice.
We cut a new promo every week while the event was still open, so the team always had something current to publish. Footage from Tuesday was working for them by Thursday, not two months later. That only works if the edit runs alongside the shoot rather than after it, so we kept an editor on the material from day one.
Interviews ran through all five weeks, with photography alongside the video. The stills carry the daily posting while the video carries the story, and shooting both together is what makes them match. The event landed well: the organisers came out ahead of what the ministry had asked for, and the coverage left them a full record of the run to keep using afterwards.
Event video coverage is one of the ways Stock Stop supports teams in London and across the United Kingdom, and in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia, from a single day to a full season. See our corporate and event video service. Send us your dates, the venue and what you need from it, and we will come back with a plan.
Running an event of your own? Tell us the dates, the city and what you need, and we will come back with a plan.
